Mo'orea

Mo'orea is where I run the annual humpback expedition. Between July and October the whales come close to shore — and so do we, slowly, with patience, with intention.

These aren't transactional whale-watching trips. We move on the animals' timeline, not ours. Some days we get a long heat-run; some days we get one mother and calf for two hours and call it a season. Both are wins.
